Kiss or marry Crowley or aziraphale
Honest question who would you rather spend your life with rather then just kiss them once
Alright, folks, let's talk about the BEST theory out there in the Good Omens fandom: the famous "Trust Me" theory! (Yes, it’s all over YouTube.)
If you don’t remember, in Episode 4 of Season 2 (1941 flashback), there’s that iconic scene where Crowley needs to shoot Aziraphale in the mouth after realizing their miracles won’t work anymore. Aziraphale subtly moves his mouth and says, “Trust me.” Later, at dinner, he explicitly says, “I asked you to trust me, and you did.” Beautiful, wasn’t it?
But what does that have to do with the devastating finale of Season 2?
Hear me out: in the finale, right after the kiss, when Aziraphale gets into the elevator and looks away, he slightly moves his mouth, as if trying to say something. The theory is that he’s once again saying, “Trust me.”
“How does that even make sense?” you ask. Let’s break it down:
Aziraphale genuinely believes that the only way to protect Crowley is by accepting the role of Supreme Archangel in Heaven. He knows how dangerous Heaven can be and that Crowley would never agree to go back. But if Aziraphale doesn’t accept, who’s going to stop Heaven from hurting Crowley again?
Crowley rejected the offer, but Aziraphale knew he would refuse. That’s why Aziraphale had to go alone. He sacrificed what he wanted (to stay with Crowley) to protect him.
That subtle mouth movement in the elevator? It’s Aziraphale’s way of trying to reassure Crowley: “Don’t give up on me. Trust me.”
Now, considering that Season 3 is confirmed to be only 90 minutes long, how are they going to fit all of this emotional complexity, redemption, and a Heaven vs. Hell showdown into a single episode?
What do you think? Is Aziraphale playing 4D celestial chess while we’re all here so
bbing over the kiss?

I am sorry if this is an overdone discussion topic, but I am new (to the wiki not the fandom), and would love to know what your thoughts are.
Please don't say any obvious ones like they will live in a cottege at the end because that has basically already been confirmed.
I want some new predictions. You may say some stuff you hope will happen.
Here are some of my predictions, please let me know your thoughts...
It takes a long time for the two to start communicating and the first few episodes will be hella depressing for us and them
It takes even longer for them to reconcile (lots of angst)
God is either against them or completely rooting for them (I haven't decided yet)
There will be a lot more flashbacks to when Crowley was an angel
The bookshop is abandoned
There is a love triangle (I know Good Omens isn't that type of show, but I wouldn't be surprised if they went this route although I would be disappointed.)
In season 2 we hear about the book of life and how it can erase anyone (human or not) from reality as if they never existed. (I wonder what other things it could do... Any ideas?)
But we never actually see it and it's all kind of... dismissed
Maybe it'll come back in season 3 idk but anyway, the question is:
What would happen if the book of life does get used in some way?
I had absolutely no idea that Crowley and Aziraphale were in love before the episodes where it was basically spoken. Now I'm finding videos from for years ago on YouTube shipping them and already naming them the ineffable husbands. I thought that was a season 2 thing!
Did anyone here know they were going to be in love (more obvious than season 1) in season 2?

Season 2 episode 6
”well of course you said no to hell, you’re the bad guys”
Aziraphale to Crowley
you’re the bad guys, as if Crowley is anything like them.
As if he has anything to do with hell, or is even a smidge of a bad guy
Gotta word things better azi 🥲
Guys remember the one scene in season two where crowleys like “you mean a sudden rainstorm? They look into each others eyes and realize they were made for each other”
…
You all remember the opening scene of the show right…
The two of them…
And the first rainstorm?
😭
1.
Aziraphale: Are you a cuddler?
Crowley: I'm a machine of death and destruction.
Aziraphale:
Crowley: ...Yeah, I'm a cuddler.
2.
Crowley: Do you want this handful of moss?
Aziraphale: Why would I want a handful of moss?
Crowley: Damn, you could’ve just said no.
3.
Aziraphale: *working in a flower shop and minding their own business*
Crowley, storming into the store and slapping $20 on the counter: HOW DO I PASSIVE-AGGRESSIVELY SAY “FUCK YOU” IN FLOWER???
4.
Crowley: I’ve come to a point in my life where I need a stronger word than fuck.
5.
Aziraphale: Crushes are the worst. Whenever I’m near mine, I start acting stupid.
Crowley: You always act stupid.
Crowley:
Crowley: Wait...
6.
Aziraphale: You’re insane!
Crowley: Sure I am, what’s your point?
7.
Aziraphale, dashing into the room: WHY AREN’T THE DISHES IN ALPHABETICAL ORDER?!
Crowley: …What does that even mean?!
8.
Crowley: In the poison’s defense, I’ve done some pretty dumb shit while completely sober too.
9.
Aziraphale: Oh, fiddlesticks! That really ruffles my feathers!
Crowley: Please, just say fuck.
10.
Aziraphale: Do you take constructive criticism?
Crowley: Not without crying
If you are interested in a great, mysterious, emotional flashback fanfic series, check out my friend' s Realm series on AO3 - Crowley and Aziraphale keep being yanked out of reality in different historical periods, to find each other again and again but then they have to "wake up" Rated E. (her art too) Worth a read :)

Part of it is happening in the realm of The Sandman but you don't need to know anything about The Sandman to understand the story.
I was wondering here, what was the first time Crowley called Aziraphale "angel"?
Has anyone ever asked Mr. Gaiman this?
