David Arnold is a British composer who has worked on the Prime Video streaming series Good Omens. Arnold is also a fellow of the British Academy of Songwriters, Composers and Authors.

Arnold is a multi-award-winning British film and television composer. Best known for his work on blockbuster films such as Independence Day, Stargate and Chronicles of Narnia, he also took over the mantle from John Barry to compose the music for five James Bond films (including Casino Royale, for which he was nominated for a Grammy, a BAFTA and won ‘Best Song’ at the World Soundtrack Awards). Other films scores include Godzilla, Shaft, Zoolanderand Stepford Wives. Meanwhile, Arnold’s television is equally impressive, as his work includes Sherlock (Emmy winner for best score with Michael Price), which starred Benedict Cumberbatch, Little Britain and Dracula. Over his 20-year career, he has won Grammys, Ivor Novello, International Emmys and Royal Television Society Awards. He was recently twice nominated for an Emmy for the Amazon /BBC production “Good Omens”. Arnold is also a highly esteemed artist, record producer, songwriter and conductor who has worked with some of the biggest names in music, including Queen, The Who, Kate Bush, Björk, Iggy Pop, George Michael, Massive Attack, Shirley Bassey and Sir Paul McCartney.[1]
In Good Omens Arnold, went onto help compose for the opening title sequence, which created by the London-based Peter Anderson Studio, and featured music by Arnold.[2] Moreover, Emmy winning composer David Arnold, when it came to the music he featured on the series, he went along with quite a few Queen songs throughout the series. Arnold then went onto receive two Emmy nominations for Outstanding Main Title theme and for the episode "In the Beginning".[3]
