Eve was the first female human to ever exist. She was most likely based off of the biblical figure of the same name.
Background[]
Adam and Eve were the first humans ever created. They lived in the Garden of Eden until Eve was tempted by a serpent - the Demon Crowley, known then as Crawly or Crawley - to eat an apple from the forbidden Tree of Knowledge.
Significance in series[]
"In the Beginning"[]
6,000 years ago, Adam and Eve inhabit the Garden of Eden. Crowley, in the form of a snake, tempts Eve to eat the forbidden apple, who shares it with Adam. They leave Eden, dressed in loincloths.
Cast out of the Garden of Eden for disobeying God, Adam and Eve go out into the desert that surrounded their previous residence. With concerns that Eve is pregnant and that wild animals may hurt them, the Principality Aziraphale of the Eastern Gate gave away his flaming sword to help the couple.
Adam and Eve are immortalised in the Bible as the first man and woman to ever be made. They had two sons, Cain and Abel, and were considered to be the parents of all humanity to those who were religious.
Trivia[]
- Season 2 confirms that Eve was indeed born through Adam's rib in the Garden of Eden, and that she was already an adult, instead of a baby, when that happened.
