Thaddeus Dowling is a minor character in the Amazon series Good Omens. He's the American ambassador in England, husband of Harriet Dowling and father of Warlock Dowling, the biological son of Deirdre and Arthur Young.

It would be nice to think that the real son of Harriet and Thaddeus Dowling was discreetly adopted and grew up to breed tropical fish, and the Voice of God suggests this is likely. In the book it is implied that their biological son became a bully and has indeed won prizes with his tropical fish.
